Condition: Fair.  Stapled binding tight.  No tears.  Front cover recto edge has a top edge to bottom edge fold, fold also on first page of the pamphlet.  Smudging, spotting to front cover.  Lower front cover corner has an approx. 2½” bend, extends through entire pamphlet.  Smudging to rear cover.

Notes: The first article, on tree-ring dates from the Navajo Land Claim in Arizona and New Mexico, is more reference than reading.  The second article, on the PATRICK microscope, used to “computerize” measuring tree rings, is only 3 pages, but there’s an excellent illustration of the machine itself.  PATRICK, in the more than 50 years since this was published, has been supplanted by WinDendro, LINTAB, high resolution digital cameras and scanners, and laser-ablation isotope-ratio mass-spectrometers.  In its day, I’m sure PATRICK got its share of use.  Time marches on.  VERY RARE.  No other copies available for sale.
