Description
Author: Gladwin, Harold S. (1883-1983)
Publisher: Gila Pueblo (Globe, AZ)
Pub Date: 1940
Binding: Paperback
Condition: Fair. Stapled binding tight, but it’s gonna need some work down the road. Middle staple has pulled loose from the covers, and all staples show signs of rust. Previous owner’s name on upper front cover corner. As with all the Gila Pueblo/Medallion Papers volumes, all the edges are worn and in some places slightly torn. It’s that cover overlapping the text body. Sun-fading to front cover recto edge. Foxing to spine and spine edges.
Notes: Medallion Papers No. XXVII. Gladwin was a late-comer to tree-ring dating, but once he got his feet wet he was all in. Borers, sanders, microscopes, tools of his own devising. Great small chapter (3 pages) on preparing charcoal samples. This Medallion Paper VERY RARE. No other copies available for sale.
