Notes: Reprint edition. Originally published as Red Rock Country, by Doubleday, in 1972. Baars was a professional petroleum geologist and professor, and conducted river trips through the Grand Canyon. Hard-core geology, not for amateurs (If you’ve got the terminology, it’s actually pretty readable. Without the terminology, you’re on your own).
