Notes: Geological Survey Bulletin 1291.  The Uintas  (an anagram for Unitas, HOF Baltimore Colts quarterback.  Okay, sue me for the sophomore crossword humor) stretch east to west, and form the far northern edge of the Colorado Plateau.  The Uinta range extends through Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado as a portion of the Middle Rocky Mountains.  A good basic intro to Utah geology, good photos and illustrations.
