Notes: Pamphlet.  Offprint from El Palacio, Vol. 78, no. 4.  This is the first printing of an official Museum publication on Quarai (Kwar-I).  It morphed into a revised and updated edition in the Eighties, entitled Quarai: Salinas National Monument  (see https://joethebookguy.com/shop/indian/quarai-salinas-national-monument-pamphlet/  ).  It’s still more a Spanish history of the monument than a straightforward archaeological expedition.
