Condition: Book: Fair.  Binding tight.  No tears, bends or folds.  Signed by the author on second endpaper/half-title page.  Very light edge and corner wear.  Dust Jacket: Fair.  NOT price clipped.  Two approx. 1/2″ tears along upper front cover edge, one near spine head, the second at upper corner.   Wear to all corners.  Some scuffing, scratches to rear cover.

Notes:  Primarily Arizona and New Mexico, but some Utah, Colorado, a skosh bit of Nevada, California along the Colorado River, and a dip of the toe into Mexico.  Not really a mini-version of the “Handbook of the North American Indians” series published by the Smithsonian.  More history, anthropology, memoir, certainly less-rigorous archaeologically.  Several sections of color photographs.  SAR Press must have received a TON of money to print this volume.
