Notes: A volume in The Newberry Library Center for the History of the American Indian Bibliographical Series.  Usually bibliographies are just snooze-fests, unless you use them on a regular basis.  I have a duplicate of this volume in my personal bibliography collection.  Critical (or annotated) bibliographies are designed to give you the usual bibliographic information (title, author, publisher, pub date, pages, etc.) as well as a summary of contents of a particular title, and a critical evaluation.  For example, here’s part of the entry for “Awatobi” (Awatovi): “R.G. Montgomery, Watson Smith and J.O.
