Notes: 1967-68 Annual Report to the National Park Service. Paleoclimatology. Only 7 pages of written report, along with 20 pages of maps, primarily of Arizona and New Mexico, but the Four Corners as well, showing climatological data based on tree rings. You’ve got to know what you’re looking for in these maps, but trust me, they show SEVERE drought in the Four Corners region between 1140-1199 A.D. (not the GREAT DROUGHT of 1276-1299). The maps have only a single vertical fold, so you can unfold one or two or ten and look at each ten year period and compare it to the previous or next ten year period. Well designed report.
