Notes: Second Edition, Revised and Enlarged.  Originally published in 1951.  47 different essays, including 11 by A.L. Kroeber  as author and 2 as co-author.  General Surveys, Archaeology, Historical Accounts of Native Californians (18th and 19th century), Ethnology: Material Culture and Economy,  and Ethnology: Social Culture.  Not a lot of illustrations, but a 27 page bibliography.  It’s a mini-encyclopedia.
