Condition: 3 copies.  Copy 1:  Fair to Good.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears.  Upper rear cover corner has approx. 2″ fold which extends through last 10 pages or so.  Upper front cover corner has small bend and lamination chip.  Lower corner of pp. 333-337 bent.  Copy 2 (SR):  Fair.  Binding tight.  No folds.  Upper and lower front cover corners worn (chewed? insect damage?).  Lower damage extends to first 6 or seven pages.  Lower rear cover corner missing an approx. 1″ x 1/2″ piece.  Upper rear cover corner has an approx. 1/4″ bend.  Wear to spine and rear spine edge.  I’d say “edge and corner wear” but that would be redundant.  Copy 3 (SR):  Fair to Good.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears, bends or folds.  Spine foot has one small chip to laminated cover.  Some smudging to bottom text block.  Very light edge and corner wear.  Appears unused.

Notes: Unabridged reprint of BAE Bulletin 78 (1925).  Big thick heavy thing–995 pages, 419 illustrations, 40 maps, bibliography, indices.  Everything you’d want in a handbook except a small boy to carry it for you.
