Condition: Poor to Fair. Ex-library. Binding tight. No folds. Lower front cover corner at spine foot has remnants of a long-ago sticker. Spine head has an approx.1/2″ area of wear at the upper rear gutter. Spine head worn. Spine foot has remnants of tape and a sticker covering library location markings. A couple of areas of wear to front and rear boards (small white streaks, probably from rubbing against other volumes). Library card pocket on mid-front end paper. Some marked-oput areas on upper corners of front end paper and front pastedown. Date stamp on upper corner front pastedown at spine head. There’s a small area approx. 1/4″ x 2″ on side text block that looks like water (coffee?) spot. All corners bumped, worn.
Notes: Can you imagine what being alive in California was like before the arrival of Europeans? The cultures and practices of about 60 California tribes.
