Description

Author: Bauer, Paul W.

Publisher: New Mexico Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources

Pub Date: 2011

Binding: Paperback (wire-o binding, rear cover flap)

Condition: Fair to Good.  Wire-o binding in good shape.  No marks, tears, bend, folds.  It’s been used (the rear flap was used as a page bookmark so it’s slightly cocked), but barely.  Very light edge and corner wear.

Notes: WATERPROOF EDITION!!!  I am super impressed with this volume, even though it only covers the northern section of the Rio Grande, from Lobatos Bridge, Colorado to Buckman Crossing in White Rock Canyon, New Mexico.   Lots of color photos, nicely detailed maps, weather charts, geologic history, recommendations (hazards, safety, permits–the Summary Chart of Eleven Sections of the Rio Grande is incredibly helpful (“Highlights–A big thrill for survivors”).  Nicely done.
