Notes: This should probably be called “West Texas Mountains” or “FAR West Texas Mountains” since that’s where all the mountains are in Texas. The Hill Country is called the Hill Country for a reason. They’re not mountains. Large format color photography of The Chisos, Rattlesnake, Quitman, Delaware, Davis, Hueco, Van Horn, Guadalupe Mountains (Guadalupe Peak is the highest point in Texas, at 8751 feet) and more. The Himalayas they’re not, but you wouldn’t know it from listening to Texans. Very pretty book.
