Notes: Reprint edition.  Originally published in England in 2004 by Papadakis Publisher.  A combination of extreme close-up photography of pollen grains and flowers with some pretty rigorous scientific information about pollen (plant reproduction, pollen morphology, pollen development).  The color photos are excellent, comparable to Jurgen Tautz’s bee photos.  I worked with a commercial beekeeper for about a decade and his aphorism, every spring, was “No rain, no flowers, no pollen, no bees, no honey.”  Gotta admire the simplicity there.
