Notes:  As much a history of bird/human interactions as an all-purpose biology of birds (without the jargon).  Birds from folklore, from egg to chick, intelligence versus instinct, migration, how light affects birds’ breeding cycles, territory, birdsong, sex, infidelity (more common than you might think), reproduction and longevity.  Excellent color plates (not just Audobon).  Really easy read.
