Description
Author: de la Garza, Phyllis (1942-)
Publisher: Westernlore Press
Pub Date: 1995

Condition: Book: Fair to Good. Binding tight. No tears, bends or folds. Signed by the author on title page. Very light edge and corner wear. Dust Jacket: Fair. Chips to head of spine. Spine sun-faded. Edge and corner wear, particularly at flap corners.
Notes: Apache warrior, outlaw, military scout. As a teenager in frontier Arizona in the 1870’s he was adopted by Al Sieber, the Chief of the Army Scouts. The remainder of his life was marked by one controversy after another–shoot-outs, escapes, rumors of ambushes and massacres. Edgar Rice Burroughs, later the author of the Tarzan series of books, was a member of the 7th Cavalry which chased the Apache Kid at one point. Strangely, this appears to be RARE, especially signed.
