1 in stock
Description
Author: Aitchison, Stewart
Publisher: University of Utah Press (Salt Lake City, UT)
Pub Date: 2011 (Third printing)
Binding: Paperback
Condition:Fair to Good. Binding tight. No marks, tears, bends, folds. Light edge and corner wear. I’m sure it’s been looked through (but not read cover-to-cover).
Notes: Not exactly mile-by-mile, a la the Roadside Geology series, but a history of the pioneers trials and tribulations between 1878 and 1880, over sections of the trail, getting to southern Utah. You gotta love the aerial photo “looking straight down into Hole-in-the-Rock.” Gives a whole new meaning to work.
