Condition: Fair.  Binding tight.  No tears, bends or folds.  Sun-fading to 3 edges of the front cover.  Large square of clear tape covers authors’ names on fornt cover.  Previous owner’s name stamped on bottom text block.  Smudging to bottom text block.  Light edge and corner wear.  Appears unused.

Notes: Archaeological Series  162, Volume 4.  Volume 4 of a 7 volume set, all volumes sold separately.  “….the project was designed to mitigate the impacts to archaeological resources which would result from the construction of a segment of Interstate Highway 10.” Las Colinas was a large Hohokam platform mound village, located on a major canal system, and occupied throughout the Sedentary (A.D. 950-1150) and Classic (A.D. 1100-1450) phases.  The material culture consisted primarily of ceramic, stone, bone, shell and perishable artifacts (textiles, e.g.), as well as Hohokam mortuary practices.
