Condition Fair.  Binding tight.  No tears, folds.  Upper and lower front cover corners worn.  Previous owner’s stamp on upper corner title page.  Lower rear cover corner has an approx. 1/4″ bend, wear, extends through last 30 pages (dropped).  Some smudging to rear cover.

Notes: River Basin Surveys Publications in Salvage Archeology No. 11.   Archaeological excavations of two Plains Indian sites along the Missouri River.  The sites were on river bottomland and “veritible oases” (Page 1).  And, you guessed it, this is salvage archaeology in the face of inundation.
