Condition: 2 copies.  Copy 1: Book: Fair to Good.  Binding tight.  No tears, bends or folds.  Previous owner’s stamp on top and bottom text blocks and on ffep.  Upper corners bumped, lower front cover corner starting to fray. Map endpapers, indicating areas and topics included.  Smudging to bottom text block.  Gilt on spine and front board still sharp, easily readable.  Dust Jacket: Fair.  Numerous chips and small tears to upper edge, both front and rear.  Foot of spine worn.  Now in mylar.  Copy 2 (FL):  Fair.  Binding tight.  No tears, bends or folds.  Without dust jacket.  Previous owner’s name, date and locational information on upper front pastedown, near spine head.  Bottom of front and rear boards worn.  Wear to head and foot of spine.  Some scuffing to rear board.

Notes: Textbook.  A course in how to be an archaeologist.  Reconstruction, restoration, field-work, dating, cultural interpretation, lab work.  Archaeological technique, interpretation of data, lots of things an archaeologist may encounter.  Because this was published more than 40 years quite a bit has changed technologically.
