Condition: Fair.  Ex-library.  Binding tight, but cocked slightly to the left.  No tears, folds.  Library tag taped to spine foot, tape extends to lower front and rear covers.  Bottom front cover corner has an approx. 1″ bend, extends through entire volume (dropped).  Edge and corner wear.  I can find no other library markings in the book other than that on the lower spine.

Notes: Originally published in 1945 by the Branch of Education, Bureau of Indian Affairs.  The publisher, Sherman Institute Press, was part of the Sherman Institute, a native boarding school in Riverside, CA, and the press was probably a trade program.  Food, architecture, canoe building basketry, clothing, family, government, religion, and the reservation.  From the library of the late archaeologist Al Schroeder.
