Notes: While it’s not stated directly, it’s certainly implied that the San Marcial railroad bridge may have exacerbated both the 1929 and 1937 flooding of the Rio Grande, with the 1937 flood wiping San Marcial off the map.  The Army Corps of Engineers and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad had plans to raise the bridge, and this study was conducted to help determine plans to move the bridge and construct a new bridge that had fewer impacts on Rio Grande hydrology and flows.  VERY RARE.   NO copies available for sale, and held in only 1 library.
