Notes: Chaco (Chaco Culture National Historic Park) is a World Cultural Heritage Site. If you’ve never made the trip over 20 miles of rough road, you should do it. This is an archaeological history of Chaco, and those who wandered around in it. Chetro Ketl, Pueblo Alto, Pueblo Bonito, Pueblo Pintado, Fajada Butte, the sun dagger–you know them all.
