Condition: Fair.  Binding tight.  No tears, bends or folds.  Previous owner’s stamp on ffep/half-title page.  Some smudging to front cover.  Some edge and corner wear.

Notes: “Being three panels and three accounts: 1. The Angel’s New Wings; 2. The Penitente Thief; 3. Hunchback Madonna”  Originally published in 1940 by St. Anthony Guild Press.  Fray Angelico was born Manuel Ezekiel Chavez, but upon entering the novitiate was given the name Angelico, after Fra Angelico, the Renaissance painter.  He was something of a New Mexico treasure.
