Condition: Fair to Good.  Binding tight.  No tears, bends or folds.  Previous owner’s name, date, locational information and bookplate on front pastedown.  Without dust jacket.

Notes: If this was in a different (i.e. paperback, smaller) format I’d call it a field guide.  Deserts include Chihuahuan, Sonoran, Yuman, Colorado, Mohave, Great Basin and Painted, among others.  Also includes drawings of desert insects, reptiles, birds, mammals and plants (this section would be so much better with color rather than black and white drawings).  Still and all, very impressive, very readable.
