Binding:Paperback (Pamphlet)
Condition: 2 copies. Copy 1 (PC26): Fair to Good. Binding tight. No marks, tears, bends or folds. Color pictorial cover (see photo above). Slight wrinkle to rear cover, probably caused by map in pocket. Includes map in pocket at rear. Very light edge and corner wear. Copy 2 (PC26): Good. Binding tight. No marks, tears, bends or folds. Brown cover (see photo above). Includes map in pocket at rear. Very light edge and corner wear. I imagine this was a first printing, and the color cover was the second printing, though that is nowhere stated.
Notes: Big surprise–marine fossils (oysters, clams, shark teeth) have been found within the Park boundaries. “The rocks on the surface at Mesa Verde are between 78 and 91 million years old, deposited in the great Cretaceous inland sea.” (page 35). We have trouble figuring out what happened at Mesa Verde in 1200. Explain 78-91 million years ago to me.
