Condition: Fair.  NO binding.  Ex-library.  No tears.  This 4 page pamphlet has been folded horizontally twice (probably to fit in an envelope).  Previous owner’s stamp on upper front page corner near spine head.  A number of pencil marks along lower front page edge.  Slight edge and corner wear.

Notes: Museum Notes, Vol. 6–No. 7, January, 1934.  Pamphlet.   “The Chinle formation is widely distributed over the southwest and exposures of it may be found in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico,Colorado and Nevada, though the Arizona exposures are best developed…One of the outstanding characters of the Chinle is the presence everywhere of fossil wood.” (Page 36).  Very readable.  Also VERY RARE.  No other copies available for sale.
