The Mexican volcano Parícutin, which first erupted in 1943, is thought to be a modern equivalent eruption to that of Sunset Crater volcano (For a short film on the eruption of Parícutin see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6n3KEe3ojFI ). Sinagua history (brief), nature. Super basic but well written. Excellent color photography. Includes a separate pamphlet “Lava Flow Trail”, a hiking guide to a easy trail on the volcano.
