Description
Author: Hungry Wolf, Adolf (1944-)
Publisher:The Book Publishing Company
Pub Date: Not dated (1990?)
Binding: Paperback
Condition: Fair. Binding tight. No tears. Lower front cover corner has a couple of spots (liquid?), and upper front cover corner has a single spot. Lower rear cover corner has an approx. 1/2″ bend that extends through last 3 or 4 pages.
Notes: More a booklet than a pamphlet. 80 pages. If this had been published in the late 1960s, early 1970s, the hippies would have had a field day. Indian clothing and how to sew it, including an introduction to hand-stitching. Men’s and women’s clothing, moccasins, belts, mittens and socks, breechcloths, robes and shoulder coverings. Also sections on hair and hair care, head wear, and necklaces and earrings. This looks authentic (to this old fat Anglo guy), but I’m not gonna make and start wearing a breechcloth, much as it seems practical.
