Condition: Fair.  Binding tight.  No marks, bends, folds.  This is a portion of the paperback Proceedings of the United States National Museum, Volume 54, that was falling apart, and I had rebound in hardcover.  There is an approx. 1/4″ triangular chip missing from the lower corner of the title page.  I think a number of the pages of the book were originally uncut, but were opened by a previous owner.  Edge wear to the pages.

Notes: NOT an exhibit catalog, more a descriptive study of Hopi artifacts from the museum’s collection.  Hopi material culture, social organization, religion, art, descriptions of pottery, baskets, textiles, jewelry, and ceremonial items.  Very little on Hopi kachinas (one photo), with some descriptions of “ceremonial objects.”
