Condition: Fair.  Binding tight.  No marks.  The first page of the Contents (pg. vii) has an approx. 1″ tear mid-recto edge, with an accompanying fold extending to the bottom.  That is the singular defect (great, but what a defect).  Without dust jacket, as issued.

Notes: American Tribal Religions series, Volume 12.  Bilingual, Hopi and English.    Several of the ceremonial performances have English with Hopi following, but the first two-thirds of the book is in English, with Hopi text beginning at pg. 265.  “Puppets” (hand as opposed to string) and their roles in Hopi ceremonies.
