Notes: Pamphlet. Ex-library? This is a TWO PAGE pamphlet, page 1 a map of New Mexico from El Paso to Taos, page 2 Dellenbaugh’s speculation about the location of “Tiguex.” Tiguex (pron. Tewa) was considered the most prosperous and populous of the Native American pueblos of Nuevo Mexico in the Spanish colonization period, with at least a dozen and probably more pueblos extending through the middle Rio Grande valley. Two, maybe three previous owners of this pamphlet. Two or three sets of handwritten notes, including one set by John Otis Brew, a previous owner of this pamphlet. VERY RARE. NO other copies available for sale.
