Condition: 2 copies.  Copy 1 (LC):  Fair. Previous owner’s stamp on bottom and side of text block. Staining to cover, title page, text block (top and side).  It looks like somebody spilled some coffee on this at one time and very quickly dried it.  It does not have the usual wrinkling associated with being water damaged.  Title is inked on spine. No tears, bends or folds. Binding tight.  Copy 2 (JR): Fair.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears.  Upper front cover corner has an approx. 1/4″ bend, extends through first twenty pages or so.  Lower front cover corner slightly creased, worn.   Wear to spine head.  Smudging to bottom text block.  Edge and corner wear.

Notes: Social Sciences and Humanities Publication No. 5.  “The Bibliography, in its present form is certainly not exhaustive, although it probably includes a substantial percentage of the available literature on Great Basin Indians up to 1968.”  (From the Preface).  Okay, I realize this baby is more than 50 years old, but there is not another comparable Great Basin bibliographic volume out there–this contains more than 6400 entries.  Top that.
