Notes: Originally published in 1914, republished in 1920. Facsimile reprint of the McClurg 1920 edition. The text and color photo reproductions are terrific, but I think the black-and-white photos leave something to be desired. This edition, along with Amsden’s Navaho Weaving (see https://joethebookguy.com/shop/indian/navaho-weaving-its-technic-and-history/ ), are probably the two classics every Navajo rug collector should own.
