Condition: Book: Good.  Binding tight.  No marks, tears, bends or folds.  Very light edge and corner wear.  Dust Jacket: Fair.  NOT price clipped (no price indicated).  Upper rear cover corner at flap missing an approx. 2″ x 1/2″ triangular chip.  I’m not sure if this is a printer fault the cut line is so clean, straight.  In any case, that piece is missing.  Very light edge wear.  In mylar.

Notes: “Indeh”–The Dead.  The bulk of the book is concerned with Juh (pron. Jew, Ho, Whoa, or Who, take your pick).  Juh (c. 1825-1883) was the ablest Apache tactician, friend (and brother-in-law) of Geronimo.  Juh’s son, Daklugie, provides the oral history of his father and the Apache.  Considered by many a classic of Native American literature.
