Condition: Fair.  Stapled at upper front spine corner.  No tears.  Lower front/title page has approx. 3″ bend (as does front plastic cover).  One smudge spot near upper first page corner.  Edge and corner wear.  Bound in clear plastic report cover.

Notes: Pamphlet.  Original manuscript (? 8½ x 11 typescript).  Certainly not photocopied.  Later published in Plateau (1976).  3 libraries list a copy of a Plateau edition of 1939, but I can find no editions of Plateau from that early.  I’ll go with the 1976 edition.  While certainly rare in its subject area–identification marks on Native American pottery–it lacks that item that would make it “special”, actual drawings/photos of the ID marks, rather than just typed descriptions.  Maybe that was in the Plateau printing.  Still, RARE.
