Humphries collected these stories, often wrote them up for publication (True West, New Mexico Magazine), and would sometimes paint scenes of the stories. Most of that art work now resides in the Geronimo Springs Museum in T or C, New Mexico. Lots of period photographs. Storytelling in print.
