Notes: Reprint edition.  It appears from the copyright page that Knopf bought the rights to the book and inserted a typewritten CIP citation onto the copyright page.  Everything else says “Zenger” as the publisher.  Josephy (1915-2005) was a well-known historian of Native Americans.  His middle initial didn’t stand for anything (kind of like Harry S. Truman).  This was his first book.
