Notes: “This is not a history book.  Rather it is a directory of towns, and compilation of known information about those towns….In fact, much information I cite as fact, could well be ‘accepted gossip.'” (From the Preface)  Arranged by map location (start with the map endpapers, then find a somewhat larger of the 25 maps for more information on locations and access)–covers most of the Front Range, nothing east of Interstate 25, nothing for most of the western edge of the state with some exceptions in the San Juans.   Lots of period black-and-white photos.
