Description

Authors: Bates, Paul and Bates, Karen

Publisher: Interactive Books  (Goodlettsville, TN)

Pub Date: 1989

Binding: Paperback (comb binding)

Condition: Fair.  Comb binding tight, no missing or broken teeth.   No tears, bends, folds.  Smudging to upper rear cover corner.  Light edge and corner wear.

Notes: Not a reading volume, reference only.  Great for identification, but no valuations.  Arranged by state, including Canada and Mexico.  Also includes a “Brand Name Study”  (Big Chief to Try-me).  “The earliest form of labeling was embossing where raised glass letters and decoration was created as part of the bottle mold.  This label was used primarily as a means of getting the bottle returned for refills.” (From Historical Review of Soda Beverages).  I’m pretty sure this is a Print-on-Demand type of volume, primarily due to the poor photo reproduction of the bottles.
