Condition: Fair. Stapled binding tight. One long fold along front cover verso edge–it’s been opened. One approx. 1/2″ tear near mid -front spine edge. Several chips along lower front spine edge. Three sets of staple holes along recto edge of the volume–probably a mis-stapling of the entire volume because the staple holes go all the way through. One numerical pencil mark in bottom corner ffep/title page, at spine foot (ex-library? No other library markings). Edge and corner wear.
Notes: A long essay (92 pages) on bottles exposed from a dump, prior to reconstruction of a parking lot. Milk bottles, medicine bottles, miscellaneous bottles, cataloged by manufacturer, by color, size, contents. One section on bottle-maker marks. The bulk of the bottles salvaged went to the El Paso Centennial Museum. Volume also includes two book reviews.
