Notes: The bulk of these papers were previously published in journals, often cited, but relatively unavailable.  Northern Mexico is/was probably the primary transmitter of civilization from Mesoamerica to the Puebloan southwest.  “The papers reproduced here include some of the earliest systematic archaeological work done in northwest Mexico, a selection of oft-quoted materials from documentary sources, plus older ethnological papers, and articles in archaeology and ethnology that have had relatively little circulation.” (From the Introduction).  In Copy 1, ephemera is a review request to Bob Lister.
