Notes: Once you open this it’s obviously a reduced size photocopy, with recto and verso pages reversed and two to a page (odd numbers at the top of the page, even numbers at the bottom–bassackwards.  The photocopy itself is fine, easily readable, it’s just that “start reading the right hand page and move to the left hand page” on the same page.  This is probably a preliminary report on what the effects of reservoir construction would have on prehistoric and historic cultural resources.  The survey uncovered evidence ranging from the Archaic period to the Formative period (approx. A.D. 750–1300), including burned caliche concentrations, fire-cracked rock, and ceramic sites, all from temporary, seasonal or specialized sites.  This report itself is VERY RARE, no other copies available for sale, but was probably superseded by Gallagher’s Archaeological Survey of the Brantley Reservoir ( Dept. of Anthropology, Southern Methodist University, 1976) and An Archaeological Inventory of Brantley Reservoir, New Mexico (Henderson, Dept. of Anthropology, Southern Methodist University, 1976)     (see https://joethebookguy.com/shop/archaeology/an-archaeological-inventory-of-brantley-reservoir-new-mexico/ ).
