Notes: Monographs of the School of American Research and the Museum of New Mexico Number 23.  “The preliminary reconnaissance demonstrated the existence of seven periods of occupation: a Lithic Period, Rosa Phase, Montezuma Phase, Dinetah Phase, Gobernador Phase, Recent Navajo and a Homestead Period….Results obtained from the preliminary investigations indicated that a great many archaeological and historic remains would be destroyed and that need existed for a salvage archaeology program…Excavations or tests were conducted at two Rosa Phase structures, eight Gobernador Phase sites, and three Homestead groups.  Limited surveys yielded an addition forty-seven sites.” (From the Introduction).   VERY RARE.  NO other copies available for sale, and held in only 4 libraries.
