Condition: Good.  Binding tight.  Without dust jacket, as issued (printed boards).  No marks, tears, bends or folds.  Appears unused.

Notes: Being cynical I would describe this as one of those large format picture books you see in Barnes & Noble, in their Sale Books section, a book you might give to your mom/dad/sister/brother/amigo who has an interest in archaeology, but not enough to have gotten a degree.  Nothing wrong with that.  In reality, it’s a large format picture book with some very good archaeology (thanks to Adovasio)–where did they come from, how did they get here, where did they go–followed by chapters on Clovis and Folsom age sites (New Mexico, Arizona, Missouri, Texas, Pennsylvania), “Disputed” Pre-Clovis sites (Pendejo Cave, NM, Pedra Furada, Brazil, Tule Springs, NV), “Legitimate” Pre-Clovis sites (Meadowcroft Rockshelter, PA, Buttermilk Creek, TX), and “Controversial” Pre-Clovis sites (Bluefish Caves, Canada, Saltville, VA).  There’s more–mostly reference items (glossary, bibliography, references, etc.).  The photos, maps, diagrams are all first rate.  Each chapter/section peer reviewed.  Your mom/dad/sister/brother/amigo might enjoy it.
