Notes: Prior to the construction of a new recreation building, the City of Phoenix authorized an archaeological survey in El Reposo Park.  The survey identified “a high density of cultural materials within the project area.”  40 features were excavated, including a cremation cemetery, 2 middens and several modern features.   All remains and associated grave goods were housed together, analyzed and repatriated to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.  VERY RARE.  NO copies available for sale, and held in only 5 libraries.
