Condition: Fair.  No tears, bends, folds.  Without dust jacket, as issued.  At least two previous owners, probably three.  One previous owner’s stamp on upper corner title page.  A second owner’s blindstamp on lower corner title page.  Includes two LARGE fold-outs (both have been folded correctly, no tears, no bends).  Wear to all edges and corners, spine edges, head and foot.  There were several loose signatures (split at the gutter) which I’ve had repaired.  It’s tight.  Probably good for another hundred plus years.

Notes: Bureau of American Ethnology Bulletin 34. “Physical” anthropology, physiological and medical traits, features, sizes, adults, children, some odd stuff-“data pertaining to grayness”, “Notes on social abnormalities” including abortions, sterility, infanticide, crime, suicide, things only a trained physician (as Hrdlička was) might look at.  Does not include Indians of California or Texas. Hrdlička was the first curator of physical anthropology at the Smithsonian, from 1904 to 1941.
