Notes: Conference papers. From the gitgo I’m impressed by the writing–clear, concise, bringing Mimbres knowledge into the twenty-first century–and the early maps of Archaic sites in the region, specifically within the major river valleys. Papers on agriculture, architecture, ceramics (obviously), religion, food, food procurement, and influence into northern Mexico, among others. Lots of praise for Steven LeBlanc and the Mimbres Foundation.
