Condition: Fair to Good. Stapled binding tight. No marks, tears, bends or folds. Scuffing to upper front cover spine edge. Some wear marks along lower front cover spine edge. Very light edge and corner wear. Appears unused.
Notes: Oversize pamphlet (really a booklet)–8½” x 11″, 19 pages. Eight villages comprise the Chimney Rock Archaeological Area. The principal focus of the volume is the archaeoastronomy associated with Chimney Rock, illustrated with photos, charts, and diagrams (most in color). I think this booklet was designed and produced for tourist use–though tourists would probably be put off by the math and celestial/terrestrial diagrams. Another alternative for the booklet’s production may have been as a “thank you” piece for members of the Colorado Historical Society and/or the Chimney Rock Interpretive Association. In either case this volume is VERY RARE. No other copies available for sale, and held in only 11 libraries (all with only internal use allowed).
