Notes: Desert Research Institute Publications in the Social Sciences No. 12.  Conference papers.  “Data and hypotheses from several allied disciplines have been used by archeologists in the formulation of different models of Great Basin prehistory.  The problems of using these data and hypotheses are discussed in terms of two ‘syndromes,’ ‘God’s-Truth vs. Hocus-pocus’ and ‘The View-from,’ and a ‘linkage problem’ in the development of genetic models.”  (Don’t know what all that means, but that’s the entire Abstract.  God’s holy trousers.)
